This week for writing our task was to write a poem. We got to decide on why kind of of poem we wanted to do, these were the options: Shape poem, rhymed poem, riddle poem or a haiku poem. I did a Rymed poem about a lucky potion, here is my result:
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Ariella. Thank you for sharing your poem with me. Poetry is one of my favourite genres to do with students so I was delighted when Miss Parker said it was your writing focus this week. I particularly liked how you included clover in your potion as it reminded me of my childhood growing on my family farm, always on the look out for a lucky 4 leaf clover! Something to think about is your rhyming pattern. What words or sentences do you want to rhyme with one another? And finally.... have you made your 'Lucky Potion' and if so did it work?
