My Lock down letter to my future self!

This is my Lock down letter to my future self! I hope you enjoy my letter!
Date: 19.5.20
Address: 12 Nugget road
Country: New Zealand
Dear Future Ariella,

Hey, I hope you are doing great, I just thought it would be nice to give you a little
throwback to when you were younger and Covid-19 was happening. Remember Covid-19
/Coronaviris? and on level 4 we all were stuck inside! Well I'm going to tell you how we spent
the time stuck inside with 5 people in our family for 7 WHOLE WEEKS!

Since we were having to spend Easter inside also not to mention mothers day!
Well anyway back to what I was saying Easter was inside with only Sienna, Alexi, Mum and Dad.
So mum decided to make it special. She came up with an amazing idea that was to make our own
Easter baskets
out of newspaper and glue that mum made! It was a three day craft. The first day we had to make
the base, then the second day we spray painted it I made mine pink! Then for the last day we
painted it and decorated it!
All of it was really fun.
But after Easter there was not much to be excited for but there were some fun things to do.
Remember you spent most of your time on Face time with friends but mostly caoimhe you
would still be asleep and
there was absolutely no need for an alarm because caoimhe would call you most mornings at 7:00am
but you didn’t mind it.

In lock down most of the days were sunny and hot, a nice day to go to the beach but at first you were not allowed
so you and your sisters went on the tramp! But it was really hard for us all to play on it because it was broken and very small because
we have had it since sienna was little! And we loved to play on it so much that we even made a little hole in the main part that you jump
on whoopsie! After
r a long time of convising mum and dad they finally let us get a new one! We were over the moon excited! It was amazing!!
Oh and I can’t forget the amazing walks we had up and down the driveway! Ok you probably forgot how our driveway looks right? Well it's really long and 3 neighbors live on each part! Remember when all sienna, lexi and you went up and down up and down heaps of times with all the leafs and trees swaying everywhere!?
Hey can I ask some questions thanks!
  • Are you still close friends with Caoimhe/kevin, Santara, The twins and lara!?

  • Have you made your own family yet?

  • Does sienna have kids?

  • Do you have kids?

  • Do you remember boxa?

  • Do you remember Harley?

Love from Ariella from the past!🌻🌅💞

Gobble Gobble my summery about Turkeys!

One Poultry Bird is a Turkey. The turkey is related to another poultry bird which is the chicken.
It is an ancestor of domesticated turkey which is farmed as a common food for the american market. Turkeys live freely in forests. Sometimes Turkeys get moved to farms to get fed from the crops. Turkeys are one of those birds just like many other birds they just can’t fly even though they have wings. Well they can fly but not too high and not for long it would be safer to stay on ground. Their feathers are dark colors with shades of gold and green. Although they are slimmer than farm turkeys, wild turkeys are prized as game birds. Because of their large body they are hunted by humans. In the past native Americans have caught turkeys for food and their feathers.

My Spanish Flu Report!

 The Spanish Flu
Did you know that The Spanish flu was the deadliest disease in history!?
The Spanish flu affected many countries and people around the world. 50 million people had the Spanish flu and 20 million of them sadly passed away and so that means 30 million people who had the Spanish flu very luckily survived the deadly disease.

It is unknown exactly which particular strain of influenza that caused the pandemic came from. However, the 1918 flu was first observed in Europe, areas of Asia and America. Before spreading to almost every single part of the planet within months!

Despite the fact that 1918 wasn't isolated into the one place it became known as the Spanish flu all around the world. This is because Spain was the one who got hit the hardest with this disease.

Even Spain’s king reportedly contracted this flu! In Fact more U.S soldiers died from the Spanish flu than who was killed in the battle in the war. Forty percent of the U.S navy was hit by the flu. While 36 percent of the army became ill. And troops moving around the world in crowded ships and trains helped to spread the killer virus.

A few locations were immune to the 1918 flu in America victims ranged from residents of major cities to those of remote Alaskan communities. Even president Woodrow Wilson reportedly contracted the flu in early 1919 while negotiating the Treaty of Versailles which ended world war one!

Some believe infected soldiers spread the disease to other military camps across the country, then brought it overseas. In March 1918, 84,000 American soldiers headed across the Atlantic and were followed by 118,000 more the following month

I hope you have learnt something new today from my report!!!
